Four new hires join the Remedy Plan Team in 2022

Remedy Plan is excited to announce that our team expanded this year with four new hires. With this additional expertise on board, we are accelerating towards the clinic. Please join us in welcoming Dexter Davis, Parisa Moghaddam-Taaheri, James Digel, and Fabie Ramos!
Dexter Davis joined Remedy Plan in January as Research Scientist II, Medicinal Chemistry. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University and his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Dexter was previously a postdoctoral research fellow at the Warren Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery and a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Enanta Pharmaceuticals. Dexter has a demonstrated expertise in medicinal chemistry and has successfully optimized and developed clinical drug candidates in the area of small molecule antivirals targeting hepatitis B and SARS-CoV-2.
Parisa Moghaddam-Taaheri joined Remedy Plan in July as a Project Manager supporting business development activities. She has a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Parisa was previously a consultant at Deloitte, with expertise in project management, strategy and operations, and process development in the federal healthcare and research space. She has over 11 years of laboratory research experience, most recently in therapeutic antibody and peptide engineering for oncologic and antifungal applications.
James Digel first joined Remedy Plan in August as a Research Technician I, supporting mechanism of action and target engagement studies.
James received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a focus on evolutionary development and molecular biology. His past research includes risk assessment for using dsRNA in agricultural settings as a species-specific pesticide through RNA interference.
Claudia Fabiola Ramos (Fabie) joined Remedy Plan in November and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Biological Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, with a focus on Physiology and Neurobiology, with a minor in Criminal Justice. At Remedy Plan, she supports compound management, inventory management, and lab operations.
